America and other world democracies are at a crossroads. One path leads to inclusion and love, the other path leads to exclusion and hate, bigotry, and racism. America has a both a beautiful and horrible past. We only see and discuss the beautiful and ignore our ugly past. The genocide and enslavement of 100 million natives reduced to about 350K by the late 1800s. Today, only 5 million exist. We brought over 2 million slaves and white supremacists regret that they are here. We brought over Asians to build our railroads and we hated and abused them when they served their purposes. We have a cruel and racist history that we do not want to deal with. We can not heal if we do not see how we became this way. We can work it out, if we become enlightened.
